Thummer® Mounting Requirements The Thummer® remote control needs to be mounted onto the steering wheel so that it
has a direct line of sight to the radio. Since the remote is infrared based, if the radio can not see the cone of light that the Thummer® is emitting, it will not respond in a
repeatable manner. Please make sure that the intended mounting place in your vehicle will give the approximate placement as indicated in figure 1. This is important to determine before installation,
because the mounting strap must be trimmed to the correct length and returning the unit, after trimming, is not possible.
 If, however, you have a radio located as in figure 2, or in some other out of the way location,
please do not request the Thummer® Infrared remote. You can used the RC-06H Infrared remote to operate the radio. The RC-06H can be used anywhere in the vehicle that you can see the
radio from.
