This company is a trusted, valuable asset to anyone who uses their services. We moved about 8 hours NORTH of Gainesville, but we still drive down from Alabama every year for a check-up. The quality of work and the personal attention given us, surpasses all others we have ever dealt with. We have reccommended Continental to others and they always come back to thank us.   • The staff at Continental Imports are professional, competent and honest. They have serviced my car for more than five years and I have consistently been pleased with the quality of their work. Continental Imports is locally owned and the staff are treated like family, so staff turnover is quite low. I like knowing who is working on my car. Staff consistently provide me with an explanation about the work that has been done on my car, often by the service technician. Darren & Heidi staff the counter in the garage while Hannelore & Lin run the office as well as helping out wherever they are needed. I am welcomed any time I stop by, even when my car isn't being serviced. I would not go anywhere else for service on my car or automative advice!

  • I have been a Continental Imports customer for over 2 years ever since Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville referred me to them. I have saved numerous trips to Jacksonville to service my 2 mini's. CI (Darren and Heidi) have been more than fair when it came to resolving an electronic problem caused by my son jump starting a car without reading the instruction manual. Knowing the problems associated with troubleshooting electrical problems and the time involved, I came away feeling that the charge was fair.   • I am so thrilled to tell everyone about Continental Imports. In fact I have told several people recently about one of my last trips in there to pick up my car, and it was late in the day around 5:45 and the waiting room was full. I sat down and next to me was a young woman working on paperwork, a young couple, and an older couple as well. After a few minutes, one of your mechanics who's name I don't know, came in and told the young woman that he tried to make the car repeat the 'issue' she was having but it did not. He said he drove it for a while, checked it closely doing everything he could, and he felt strongly that the car was going to be ok for her drive to Ocala. He said if it started the 'issue' again, to call immediately. She then asked him what she owed him and he said "oh nothing." So she happily got her stuff and left. Then a few minutes later, the same mechanic popped in the room and went to the young couple .... telling them just about the same story. That he test drove the car for a long time, checked it out carefully, etc. and the woman said that all they needed to know was would the car would get them to Jacksonville as her husband was to board a flight to Afganistan in a few hours. They just needed the car to get them to the airport. The mechanic assured them the car was safe for the trip, and congratulated and thanked the her husband, the serviceman. They asked how much for the work and the mechanic said, "there's no charge." They very happily left. Then my car was ready and I felt really good leaving knowing how much Continental and your staff care about people and their cars.... it was really neat to know that you all do all that work, trying to help people out, checking for safety, etc and then you don't charge for the time. That's so cool. You have taken care of my 2000 Honda Accord for many years now, and I have been extremely happy and thankful that you do! My car has 119K miles and still runs like a champ! I trust you completely and have no reservations whatsoever recommending you to others, which, as noted above, I have! My mother now takes her 2004 Cadillac to you, which I know is a make that you don't work on. Thank you for taking care of my families automobiles!
