How to list a unit on
The Consignment Shop
It is very simple really, just E-mail me with four things.
- Your asking price
- Your quick sale price
- Your minimum sale price
- And the Brand and model of the equipment
(1) Your asking price - This is the price that you would like to get for your equipment. Set it at any price you feel is right, but remember that it is a used
piece of equipment (please state otherwise if it is not). Most people will not pay much more than half of the current models price.
(2) Your quick sale price - This is the lowest price you will allow me to offer to make the sale, without contacting you first. You can set it the same as the
asking price, and I will run all proposals by you for your approval. This means that you will give up part of the convenience of this method, but that is fine. By setting it a little lower, you allow
me to bargain with the prospective buyer and increase the chance of selling the unit without E-mailing you about every offer.
(3) Your minimum sale price - This is the bare minimum you must get for your equipment. Any offers between this price and the quick sale price will be sent to you
for approval.
(4) The Brand and Model - This, of course, is a must. I can not post information and an illustration, without it.
With all of this, I will post your unit(s) with a drawing/photo, information about features and your asking price. When the sale price is agreed on, I will require you to send me the radio. I will
check the unit to make sure it is as advertised, and then send you a company check for the agreed on price minus 10% for our service. We will handle all shipping to the buyer and how he pays us. You
will not have to worry about the buyers check coming back marked "NSF", or claims of warranties or problems.
